Finally watched KPop Demon Hunters. I kinda like it, but I'm also kinda sad about all the missed potential that has me not quite loving it ^^' Lot of good things and a lot of "damn if only they'd-"

Sometimes you'd have a change of train. Maybe this school wasn't the right fit for you, let's try that other train--it'll arrive in the same place in the end, but maybe the route will be less bleak?

My curious interest in this 'underrated cult classic' has been sufficiently punished. Reading about the history behind this ambitious but troubled production (and wondering What Could Have Been) is more interesting than watching the movie itself. 3/10, could have been a 4 if Gurgi had stayed dead.

It's fascinating how some people's reason for criticizing the idea of a Black actor portraying Snape in the Harry Potter series is that it would make James unsympathetic for bullying him. Makes me wonder if they read the OG scene and thought 'oh yeah this is ok behaviour, you go James' 😅

I've heard a great deal about you, Netflix Death Note. You butchered every single character you supposed to adapt from the original. You skipped out on its signature tactical hijinks in favour of Final Destination-esque gore. You ruined nigh-on EVERYTHING. And... you were never, ever boring. GG.
