Lately, though, I've fallen too much in love with those mountains in the distance to let them remain just a scenic view. My dreams. I want to see them up close. The train's going somewhere that's not there. Not a single train is bound for that wilderness. I don't know if I can get there on my own.

For me change continued to be a train even into my working life: my very first job offer fell right into my lap just as I was about to graduate from university. I took it. I thrived. I stayed. For nine years that train has taken me to so many amazing stations; places I'd never have gone on my own.
