The days when I'm not driving I've been working and also trying to get news about mum from the hospital. Anyway, I'm knackered, Merry Christmas.

So my dad is staying with my aunt and every couple of days I drive around to pick him up and then drive another hour to the hospital and today another hour to their house to sort out some stuff and then back to my aunt's and then back home.

Yes, I drove over and delivered the parcel to someone who I think was the addressee's mum. My god, Evri are shite. (Although weirdly, the Evri Local offshoot...not awful.)
December 8, 2025 at 7:50 PM
The postcode was at least for somewhere in the same borough. Fortunately, the person who'd ordered the parcel (and then put on an entirely wrong street address) had registered a business with Companies House, so Googling their name and postcode came up with the local address.

Crikey, that's as long as they've been going!
December 7, 2025 at 11:57 PM
Hello again!
By the way, the only reason we were there is because you posted on here about it, so thank you!

Don't tell me any more about it, I'm going to imagine it's a millitant wing of the WI protesting the enforced trans exclusion.

Go for it!

I have a DVD of series 1 of Yonderland which is useless to me because someone took the decision to not add subtitles. So I can help?

🤣 If he asks why, the answer is "the sixties".

Have you introduced him to the original Richard Harris version, though? It should be experienced at least once.
