Okazaki had in fact already designed the Watchtower-class space station that would become Starbase 47, aka Vanguard. Later he was even credited as a "Technical Consultant" on the remastered Original Series for its use in "The Ultimate Computer".

Since you all seem to like the low poly version, here is a 360 turntable of a higher poly StarCraft Hydralisk I did as well. This one is slightly closer to the SC1 cinematic colorscheme, but still retains those assorted modernized features, feel free to ask me anything about the design choices.

This is the exact same thing as yesterday's version except I also added in an effect for the shields dissipating. Doesn't look exactly like what I had in mind, but, all of this is just for testing purposes, just tryin' things out.

Blender Movie Dalek V2 - started over after learning some more lender and wanted to see if I could build it better and faster.
New shoulder & collars - no pinching, far more accurate gunboxes + now with holes
New fender - bevel is now modifier and has gradual transition.
