Looking forward to Christmas, but it can be a hard time for those feeling lonely or grieving.

On Friday I joined Norwich Soca Senior, where my late dad played, to honour members who’ve passed away this year and celebrate the friendship, wellbeing, & support the club gives older men

I’m often first to criticise the Govt on dentistry, but welcome this step. Easier access for urgent care and complex needs is good, but without proper contract reform and funding, NHS dentistry remains broken. Real reform is still urgently needed. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Insulating homes is one of the most effective ways to lower energy bills, create skilled jobs & reduce emissions. Reeves’s decision at the Budget to raid the Warm Homes Plan for short-term headlines has already undermined long-term delivery; today’s delay makes that damage worse.

Delaying the WHP also piles yet more uncertainty onto the retrofit sector at a time when experts are already warning that cancelling ECO without a ready replacement puts 10,000 skilled jobs at risk.

After slashing funding for home insulation by around 25% at last month’s Budget, it is nothing short of shameful that the govt has now chosen to delay the Warm Homes Plan once again.

Every week this plan is put back leaves more people languishing in cold, damp homes.

Farage thinks I'm a maniac?

Starmer thinks the Greens are nuts?

Badenoch thinks I'm weird?

All change: The future of British trains arrives as government reforms broken railways - GOV.UK share.google/tuAeoquKdESh...

Far too much rhetoric. Railways not 'broken' in way NHS or water/sewage is.
All change: The future of British trains arrives as government reforms broken railways
With fares frozen, a bold new look and fundamental reforms becoming law, government is building a railway Britain can rely on and be proud of.

In case anyone is *still* thinking of voting Labour.
Labour are attacking Greens. Fine. I have yet to see any party that has entirely affordable aspirations.

But at least the Greens HAVE aspirations.

Labour have seemingly decided the status quo cannot be touched, even when it doesn't work for 90% of people, or the viability of life on the planet.

Another ridiculously misleading attack from the Tories, who I see we are now ahead of in national polls. Locally currently 3 Tories and 23 Green councillors, reflecting what voters thought of how they used to run Mid Suffolk DC.
Green-led Mid Suffolk sells old loss-making investment, including tobacco and oil shares which clash with policy to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
