There's a phrase in speculative fiction called "willing suspension of disbelief", that lets people accept some things without question so they can enjoy the story.

It's not meant for non-fiction but here we are.

Not only was there a cold blooded murder but they were at a high school beating up kids and still they are harassing kids trying to leave the school. So I wonder what it is going to take for people to really, really stand up? ICE killing a child?

Haven't posted a great deal about what's happening in Minnesota because I'm trying to keep in the deadline zone rather than spinning out for three days in a rage, but obviously that was murder and equally obviously our fascist government is spinning hard to pretend it was anyone's fault but theirs.

The woman killed by ICE today was a poet. She won the 2020 Academy of American Poets, University & College Poetry Prize at Old Dominion University.
