Thinking up a new name was the biggest obstacle to joining.
We are rewatching series 13, which is hilarious. We are also watching the celebrity Traitors UK on Peacock. Since you watch TM you would probably recognize a few people.

Pluribus on Apple. It’s best to go in without knowing anything about it. If you want to laugh, Taskmaster, a UK show on Youtube that is free. Start with series 19, which includes Jason Mantzoukas.

I’m glad this announcement was made now. It gives me time (and a reason) to get matching pajamas for the family.

My kids once gave me a hard time for insisting on an early dinner at a popular restaurant. On the way out I pointed at the very full lobby of waiting diners. Their response of “ooohhh…” was vindication.

I have good news: you can find plenty of like-minded people on New Jersey Transit trains.

The article about that baggage was really upsetting. It’s a shame because we liked the first season, but we couldn’t watch the second season.

It’s not in the House of R genre, but it’s a 2-minute clip of Shoresy singing karaoke that always makes me happy. m.youtube.com/watch?v=S5vb...

We have a 2 rivers rule. Cross the Hudson for something? Fine. Cross the Hudson AND the East River? It better be something pretty special (like Pulp playing in Brooklyn).

As an American that comment totally tracks.

I’m glad to know that in advance so I won’t listen to it in public!

Marge: He prefers the company of men.
Homer: Who doesn’t?

Oh, and the pharmacist gave us bags of white cheddar popcorn for getting our vaccines. CVS has never done that before, but snacks are snacks.

That was our experience yesterday too. I scheduled it online and beyond name and birth dates, it only asked about allergies. We got the flu shot in one arm and the covid in the other. The covid arm hurts worse than the flu arm, but it’s way better than having the flu or covid.

We got to see them last year, and it was a great show. This year they were playing the same night as Supergrass. We hadn’t seen them in 20+ years, so we chose them. Also a great show.

I second this recommendation, and there are 1000+ episodes on all sorts of topics to pick and choose from.

I’m very sorry for your loss.

Of course it wouldn’t be and that is also bonkers. I can hear their debate now: “Should we pay for a giant expensive machine that causes pain and literally does one thing or pay for another technology that can do loads of other things and inflict far less pain? Unitasker pain machine it is!”

I have to have the standard mammogram and the ultrasound. Why not skip to just the ultrasound? So much less pain and way cheaper, I think.

My husband and I were at the ER recently for a minor but messy mandoline accident (he has recovered). The PA said “oh, you were helping?” when he explained what happened. I jumped in and said, “He does all the cooking, and it’s great. No one wants to eat what I make.” 😆😆😆

I just offered to teach my East Coast kids euchre on vacation (they declined, shockingly). I’m from Indiana so this stings a bit.

I hope insurers continue covering vaccines. Besides the whole protecting children (and we have evidence of it) thing, I’d think that weighing the cost of a vaccine against the cost of a hospital stay for something preventable like severe measles would make it an easy choice.

We probably shouldn’t ask for elaboration on the “other parts,” right?

I lived there for 2 years and no one told me there were LEMURS! Not cool.
