Mme, for me, depends on the P/people involved. At my age, too many memories of T/those either out of my life by proximity or death. i'm a good enough cook to make a turkey dinner a feast, but because of the memories, i will never do it again.
Counterpoint: Thanksgiving is the single worst “holiday” and I hate it. It’s a huge amount of work for food that is honestly mediocre at best. And football. This week, as always, I’m extremely grateful to be OUT of the country and NOT be planning or hosting or cooking or attending a dinner anywhere.
