Every conspiracy theory is antisemitic. There’s always a ‘them’ in control, and when you scrape away at it for long enough, it ends up being Jews. Or Space Lizards. Which is a metaphor for Jews.
I don’t think the X Files works in a world where the people running the government believe in conspiracy theories and the theories are all antisemitic at their core. None of this is fun or kooky anymore.
