I don’t think we should be using words like “innocent” or “US citizen” or “bystander” or things like that because — what if someone was an undocumented immigrant with a criminal record? Would they deserve this? No one deserves to be executed on the street in cold blood.

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

I visited The Lunch Bag in Nenagh and saw first hand how these meals are sourced and prepared. I've experience of this scheme as a parent too. Is it perfect? No. Does it provide a meal for children who need one? Yes. Should it be retained and improved? Absolutely.
Ballymaloe founder Darina Allen has blasted the Hot School Meals programme as “not fit for purpose” during an appearance before TDs this morning.

But Allen received pushback from some who pointed to children getting reliable meals thanks to the policy.

Kind of unbelievably, this morning as we launched a Dáil motion on congestion on our roads & the need for flexible working, my colleague @markwalltd was late for the debate as he was stuck in traffic. He had left Athy at 6.30am and wasn’t able to make it on time for a 10am start. Absolute madness🤯

A Labour Party TD who was due to propose a motion on reducing congestion could not do so, because of a traffic delay on the M50 this morning.

🙋How many of you were stuck in traffic on the way to work this morning?

👉️Remote work was a game changer for so many people. Let's make it a legal right and end the chaos of the commute.

Just on The Last Word on @todayfm.bsky.social discussing Ireland's approach to Trump. On the brink of potential catastrophic trade war we need to act in concert with our European allies. Talk about St Patrick's Day plans are premature but at the very least, the day of Shamrock bowls must end.

As Trump’s tariffs loom, I called on the Taoiseach today to introduce urgent measures to protect jobs and incomes, including a State-backed short-time working scheme.

Ireland’s economy is overly dependent on US multinationals, and years of growth were wasted without building resilience.

The United Nations should be the lead institution to bring peace to Gaza. I have huge concerns in relation to Trump's Board of Peace and Ireland should be extremely wary of involvement.
