"Judges across the country—the vast majority who have considered this question—have told the Government many times in the past few months that its interpretation of the law is wrong," Dalton, an Obama appointee, wrote. He added: "Members of this Bar have a duty of candor to the Court."

Just a reminder that if Trump's policies had been in effect in the past, there would be no Apple (Steve Jobs is the son of Syrian immigrants), no Google (Sergei Brin immigrated from the USSR), and no WhatsApp (Jan Koum immigrated from Ukraine).

When I lived in a cultish community, they often used “unity” as a method to silence those who expressed disagreement or who were victimized by the system.

Same dynamic here. One sided “unity.” Unity for me, not for thee.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

It’s important to note this was a procedural action, not a ruling on the merits of the underlying case. Justice Jackson wasn’t siding with the Trump administration; she was making sure the legal process unfolded correctly and fairly.

Trust me, you don't. Just read this:
ICE's hiring surge is turning out to be an entirely predictable disaster. It turns out if you’re hiring for a pariah agency using nakedly fascist and racist messaging, America’s best, brightest, and most fit don’t apply. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/ice-s-hiri...

Why hasn’t the media questioned the Treasury loaning $20-40B dollars to Argentina when funding SNAP for one month costs less than $9B? It could still be a loan, paid back from the appropriation when funding bills are finally passed. The administration will hurt the poor just to pressure Dems!
