Over Thanksgiving break, i knitted two full patterned headbands with two strands of yarn held together, and this is how much i had left of one of the yarns when i had finished the second bind-off. I WIN AT YARN CHICKEN!!!

Started a new project today - a shawl that's small enough to lug to and fro. I mostly plan to work on it in the office, so i guess it will track how busy my day was. Today's progress: an about medium busy day.

Look at this beautiful CAEK OF YARN!!! A regular-sized pair of scissors in the corner for size comparison. It's yowza by Miss Babs in Hitchhiker Birthday, which is their double-the-size skein line. I'm making a complex cable and lace argyle sweater vest!

For whatever reason, all my plants have suddenly decided IT'S GO TIME!! I have numerous plants putting out new leaves and offshoots, every cutting i plant is rooting, everything is so lush!! I'm delighted!

Great gourd! At the Arboretum in DC, it's definitely fall season and the gourds are heavy on the vines.
