I'm not sure if I have shared this link before, so here it comes anyway. Here's a fascinating documentary from 1965 about the abandoned 1937 film "I, Claudius" starring Charles Laughton and hosted by Dirk Bogarde

I just found an image of this delightful "1927" vintage card captioned with the name of my radio show. The caption was originally on the bottom, but was cropped in half in the only image of this I could find, so I added it back on at the top. I collect old holiday cards anyway, so nice to see this.

I got a good response to a Metamorpho post, so here's another Panel-by-Panel study of the second issue of his own book (at the link):

I started recording my 500th consecutive radio show today (it's Martin Denny again), to be broadcast next year. The latest batch of new shows in the high 490s have all been about revisiting favorite artists, and a particularly good batch they are too!

I recently found this large coffee table book about the great Ron Cobb, and I'm glad that it prompted me to re-acquire a wonderful 1970 collection of his cartoon work that I used to own as a kid and really enjoyed. I lucked out and got a really clean and pristine copy of "Raw Sewage". Legendary.

I have concluded that no matter how much we collectively appreciate Orson Welles throughout the whole of history, we’re underselling him.
This is the best acting lesson ever filmed.
