Emily Feiner was singled out by private security, lifted out of her seat, as the crowd chanted “let her stay” and “shame, shame.”
She’s a constituent.
Not a threat.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

@schumer.senate.gov argument is that Trump is a better messenger than the Dems are so the only option is to join them. The only way Dems will ever be given power again is if the current bunch is replaced by those who will truly represent the people.
Donald Trump and Elon Musk want a shutdown to destroy vital government services faster.
It would be a disaster.
And we have to alert everyone how much pain it would cause the American people.

This is NOT okay and requires a response. If this is not met with mass protest and public outrage, it could be you next. Plain clothed officers with no warrant detaining a green card holder for political protest should send chills down everyone’s spine.

This is NOT okay and requires a response. If this is not met with mass protest and public outrage, it could be you next. Plain clothed officers with no warrant detaining a green card holder for political protest should send chills down everyone’s spine.
I feel like this is how we are watching our decent further into fascism…. It’s just weird.

I actually think the dems should attend the SOTU, wait till the 2nd sentence, and then walk out en masse, that'll do it, there'll be no address, he'll just have a meltdown on national Tv

I know the Southern Poverty Law Center has a good, basic handbook for parents on understanding extremism online and how to keep your kids from getting sucked in, but that alone isn’t enough.
