In BG3 Dal would only believe a prophecy if it came straight from Lolth. Even then, she could be completely lying and Dal would make it happen out of sheer willingness to please her, so it becomes self-fulfilling.

This event allowed me to get into a little more detail and fill in gaps that're difficult to fit into the broad headcanons that I usually do on his blog! I fleshed out his childhood, and even learned what his favorite childhood meal was! I was also able to talk--

#tavqotd true to Jezella’s nature, she will help Dal, even if he refuses help, she kneels down so she's at eye level with him and says "I'm not gonna hurt ya, it'll be ok, just hold still." She then stretches her arms out to wrap around the wound to keep it stable. +

Azar will throw a bottle of healing potion at him. Not so that Dal would catch it, but so that it would crash on his body and perhaps be able to heal him. He won't be upset if it doesn't work. Azar just generally likes throwing things. But he will be proud of himself if Dal recovers.
