By not just giving up, but giving up *randomly*, *in exchange for nothing*, Schumer's Democrats create two problems for themselves.

Totally - I just recommended a free Steam game, here: bsky.app/profile/doou... - but part of what I'm getting here is the alternative orientation towards corporate IP that couldn't happen on traditional marketplaces (for better or worse)
I really enjoyed this! Super funny, biting (magical realist?) exploration of housing crisis in Amsterdam (but sadly very relatable beyond just the Netherlands). Recommended.

The social construction of economic "value" has never been clearer to me (for better and worse). So much cutting-edge digital game dev work today is happening outside the paradigm of "distribute an exe on Steam"... mods, fan games, ORGs, weird web experiments, IF, alt ctrl, game jams, etc.
