Enter Shikari at the Bataclan on the 10th anniversary of the attacks. Bucket list stuff. Gooseflesh for most of the set. These are the moments worth living for.

It's very funny to get accused of "rage baiting" to get clicks in 2025. Most people that get angry at headlines don't - and never have - clicked through to read a full story

There are smarter, subtler, and more effective ways to encourage genuine engagement these days, grow up

Sat down for a lovely chat with @clert.bsky.social over @eurogamer.bsky.social To talk about my games and how I'd like to keep making and improving them sustainably. To step away from the launch, meme and hype driven madness that has taken root in games.

As viral hits like Escape from Duckov and Megabonk change the industry, Falconeer developer Tomas Sala has found another way to survive
What if you didn't have to spin the roulette wheel every time you released a new game, hoping for it to find an audience? What if there was a better way?

I've been getting back into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series after many years, and the most relatable part is how everyday objects like doors and elevators have been imbued with artificial intelligence and it just makes them obnoxious and frustrating to use and everyone hates it.

As Nintendo makes history with its first commercial music release outside of Japan, is it safe to say the publisher is testing the market?

Delayed record order finally came through over the weekend, The Sound of Animals Fighting's new one sounds absolutely impeccable, and The World is a Beautiful Place's latest really suits a proper long play on the system

Both pretty hard to get hold of in the UK, so pleased to finally have them

Big, juicy, intimate interview here courtesy of @apzonerunner.com that is packed with really cool stuff.

Especially love how Kitase swans in to make demands and the team is like 'yes sir, right away, sir.'

At the end of Snake Eater when the President says 'you are above even the Boss, I hereby award you the title of Big Boss' and gives you a medal, it seemed comical at the time, but that would absolutely happen in America now.

Seeing Gustavo Santaolalla (www.theguardian.com/games/articl...) and Borislav Slavov (www.theguardian.com/games/articl...) at this show last year represent two of my favourite live music experiences EVER

This new programme looks astonishing, really really great selection of games for next year

Everything about the age that we're living in is so tacky and gaudy, and relentlessly grim.

I remember saying to someone very close, pre-Covid, "nothing is ever going to get better again, it'll only get worse" and here we are 7 years later and I'm still right
