For the better part of 15 years, the Green Bay Packers have as an organization neglected address special teams with any sort of investment. A repeated Laissez-faire attitude to an entire phase of the game. It's cost them dozens of games, including playoffs. They fail to address it. It's baffling.

I don't know what the answer is for Liverpool. Such a disjointed and emotionally grueling preseason, injuries... It's not all down to the manager. But after this I'm not sure what else can be done.
