It's absolutely surreal but today is my last day at Twilio after almost 9 years and it's been a wild ride that I will forever be grateful for ❤️

SFO is the only airport I know where Precheck has a longer line than regular security 😅

Hi, so I've spent the past almost-decade studying research uses of public social media data, like e.g. ML researchers using content from Twitter, Reddit, and Mastodon.

Anyway, buckle up this is about to be a VERY long thread with lots of thoughts and links to papers. 🧵

I love the concept of building real apps with real users. Building apps like Twilio Barista was one of the best ways for me to learn all the edge cases of our products and also try products I hadn't tried yet.
My first DevRel meta piece is published!

I was hesitant to move into this space because of the wildly differing approaches to DevRel (justified!), but I really wanted to capture the approach that has been working for me over the years.

Huge thanks to @guthals.com and @brob.dev for peer reviewing!

I love the house analogy!
While Bluesky looks like other social apps on the surface, it’s actually quite different. It’s an open network.

I blogged about it here:

The new @owasp.org 2025 Top 10 Risk & Mitigations for LLMs and Gen AI Apps was released and there are some great updates in there! Highly recommend giving it a read.

If you are strapped for time, check the thread 🧵 for a short summary on each.

My talk from the "AI for Marketers" User Group just went live! In it I cover what an AI Agent is and how agents will change different aspects of Growth Marketing and Marketing at large.

Hadn't heard of "well-designed system makes it easy to do the right things and annoying (but not impossible) to do the wrong things" as a phrase but I always thought of it as a helpful tactic in DX.

Yay first time I'm part of a starter pack 🎉 with so many great people. Feels like the pressure is now on 😅
So, we made a starter pack with all the amazing folks that had talks over the years at #JSHeroes! Who are we missing? Please let us know if we didn't find you but you are already here.

Seeing all the posts from @hipstersmoothie.com makes me both really excited about this platform and also realize that I think I don't understand more than 30% of what this place can do. Like are "Labelers" a well know thing?

Incredibly helpful thread to get started on Bluesky!

I hadn't truly realized how bad the other website has gotten until I used Bluesky again for the last few days 💙 it's so much better here and the starterpacks feature is genius! Wish they were more discoverable though

Yesterday I wrote 3 independent documents in parallel while having two separate in-depth conversations on Slack. How did I go through my life thinking this was normal and not that I had ADHD 👀🙈

The amount of uncontrolled API and data access that people are giving AutoGPT and similar systems is giving me anxiety 👀

This is cool but I wish Bluesky had the ability for me to retain my bsky.social username as an alias
Ok, I wrote a bot to reply to people who follow or mention @wesbos.bsky.social - try it out

I love how smooth updating your Bluesky username to your own domain is! The only challenge was which domain of my many to use 🤣

Oh I might have found my project for the weekend: play with the Bluesky API 👀
- we have an API and basic docs for it here: https://github.com/bluesky-social/atproto/tree/main/packages/api

Hi Bluesky 👋

Excited to be here! I'm a DevRel turned Product Manager who talks way too much about Developer Experience and APIs if he's not talking about cocktails, photography or Star Wars 😅
