Public opinion is souring on Trump’s immigration forces amid their ongoing operation in Minneapolis. Several recent surveys show increasing opposition to ICE’s aggressive tactics and a desire for agents to be held accountable.

No matter how awful many feared a second term would be, in the end we will all wish it had been that good.
One year ago today, Trump was sworn in and announced the US would enter a new "golden age"

That golden age is the state-sponsored murder and roundup of US citizens, terror and torture, a tanked economy, kidnapping & extortion of foreign leaders, child rape cover-up; and Trump pocketing like Caesar.

The administration's story about the Renee Good shooting was falling apart. CBS gave them the credibility to put it back together.

60 Minutes pulled a story in 1997 on Dr. Jeffrey Wigand, a whistleblower against big tobacco, because they were afraid it would interfere in CBS purchase by Westinghouse.
It's taken 30 years to regain a modicum of trust among viewers.
All that effort to restore faith in CBS' journalism is gone.
I just uploaded @jasonparis.bsky.social 's recording of the segment CBS News pulled from "60 Minutes" to YouTube:
