We need to think systemically and recognize that until we have some kind of systemic alternative to these institutions we’re not going to win against them.
And we need to win.

I saw a talk at GodotCon about someone who made and published a game entirely on their phone for the challenge/fun of it!
It was a small game, but still, it can definitely be done!

Yeah I always feel a bit dodgy rooting for one megacorp against another, but anything that helps to break up the steam monopoly and their 30% cut is probably good news for devs.
