For former federal prosecutor Mitchell Epner, the verdict showed that Habba's "scorched earth tactics" were "extremely self-destructive,"

The former president has denied the journalist's rape and sexual assault accusation, telling reporters in 2019, 'she’s not my type' and sparking a federal defamation lawsuit.

Ok, so. Back in 2002, my honors English class had us do, as a MAJOR part of the grade, a thesis on whatever topic we wanted. As a pretentious nerd, I decided, initially, to do mine on ‘how a story is written’. One of the first parts of this project was to assemble primary sources. 1/?
Seems a bit unlikely.

The final briefs are in for John Eastman's disbarment hearing.

"His misconduct, committed in the course and scope of his representation of former President Trump, shocked the conscience of the nation, and is of such exceptional gravity that only disbarment will suffice."

My dogs understand so many words, we started spelling them verbally.

Now they've caught onto the verbal spellings.

Wow!!
Their report on Dakota County found hundreds of these deeds originally assumed only to be heavily present in cities, showing how widespread the effects of racial segregation in housing was.

They believe hundreds more are still undiscovered.

The ole "Cuss mentally, bite your tongue, and carry on with acceptable devious tactics" that works quite well in the long run.
The best way to address opposing counsel exceeding a page limit is to raise it in a footnote in the first draft of your reply brief and then to delete that footnote before filing.

Oh good grief! I loathe bureaucracy.
Update! I'm on the phone with the billing dept... who now claims they actually sent my account to collections *months ago*, despite promising me they wouldn't until I got an itemized bill (that they still have not sent).
The law requires hospitals to give you an itemized bill. But these days they will play every possible game to not actually send it to you. My frustrating personal story in @thedailybeast.bsky.social www.thedailybeast.com/getting-an-i...
