I made this video for ME Awareness Day to illustrate how much my life has shrunk since I got sick. I am grateful every day for all I still have and can do. I also miss my old life, where I could be upright for 14 or more hours a day instead of one or two today. @meactnet.bsky.social

Happy Yule, Bluesky! Wishing the Northern Hemisphere folks deep, dark, silent nights full of magical dreams and bright, crisp days of the unconquerable, life-giving sun.

Friends, not food. Just enjoyed my 37th turkey-safe Thanksgiving.
This Thanksgiving we are so grateful that we get to know turkeys in ways that most people don't. Here are ten awesome things we love about turkeys! 🦃

1. Their gorgeous plumage. Most people think turkeys are just "brown" but their feathers have beautiful patterns, colors, and iridescence!

This is a very SCARY time! We are people with ME/CFS & Long COVID who stand against Medicaid cuts and ACA premium increases. Protecting the most vulnerable Americans is the only right thing to do.

Heroism.
The man behind me honked at me for going 70 in a 50. So now we're going 20. Together.

I hope he packed a lunch.

Me now: Can someone please tell me, step by step, in full detail, exactly what I'm supposed to do?

RIP Jane Goodall. I feel like it's shortchanging her legacy to focus only on her work with chimpanzees when her compassion extended to ALL animals. One of the best ways you can honor & continue her legacy is to incorporate more plant based meals into your life. ❤️ news.janegoodall.org/2017/04/28/w...
Why I Went Plant-Based (And Why We Should All Eat Less Meat)
Dr. Goodall went plant-based after confronting what that meat represents: pain. Since, she learned more reasons why the work to #eatmeatless is important.

When we don't have an easily identifiable 'marker' of disability (like a wheelchair) the assumption is that we are not disabled. Constantly needing to explain/justify why we can't do things, or do things differently - is exhausting. And so here's a few of our products that can help ppl understand.
