One beautiful thing about tokusatsu is that even when it looks fake as hell - sometimes especially when it looks fake as hell - I’m constantly reminded that it’s been crafted by humans who are enjoying themselves and making children believe in wonderful things.

Sometimes I put in an absurdly low bid on an eBay auction with the certainty that I definitely won't get it but also a vanishingly slim hope that MAYBE by some miracle nobody else will bid. Anyway that is how I ended up adding this magnificent glass plate negative to my collection! No date/info.

sumino's still going down as one of the better highlights of gozyuger and maya brought a charm to this show that stood out so much from the others. i just hope everything will turn out positively for her because she's amazing. they can never take away how much of a gem she is
