What are we even doing here? I can’t find common ground with people who get off on the suffering of others. Don’t just kill the people we haven’t even proved are criminals, bring them pain. I can’t relate to this. This is inexcusable to me. I’m sickened.
Megyn Kelly on alleged war crimes: "I really do kind of not only wanna see them killed in the water, whether they're on the boat or in the water, but I'd really like to see them suffer. I would like Trump and Hegseth to make it last a long time so they lose a limb and bleed out."

ICE raids are cruel, inhumane, and do nothing to serve public safety.

My responsibility is to be the mayor to each and every person that calls this city their home. That includes millions of immigrants— of which I am one.

In 48 other states, new moms have access to Medicaid for up to one year after they give birth. Not in Wisconsin.

There, the limit remains two months. And it’s only because of one man: Assembly Speaker Robin Vos.

Whew. For those who have a hard time telling who was a MAGA "true believer" vs who was just playing along, I think MTG was a true believer. She really thought trump card about working class struggles. She almost sounds like Bernie here, calling out the donors and wealthy elite who have rigged it all
Marge Greene announces she is resigning from Congress, that she doesn’t want to go through a brutal primary against a Trump backed opponent, and says Trump has treated her like a battered wife and has been hateful to her and is trying to destroy her.

Running for senate as an Independent?
Marjorie Taylor Greene just announced she will resign from Congress Jan 5 after an explosive fallout with Trump after supporting MAGA for years. Says she has no immediate political ambitions. Meanwhile Trump welcomed Mamdani calling him a fascist during their Oval Office meeting. Another insane day.

Yup. I said this earlier today, but it was only a guess. Thanks for confirming it. It is no coincidence that of the 8 who came forward to do this, none of them are running in 2026. But they ran cover for some who are.

So... Moderates and independents who think both parties suck and Dems should compromise since Rs control all 3 branches: Is it a "sensible moderate" move to sacrifice the ACA, allow the Rs to hike insurance premiums for millions, while Rs hold SNAP hostage? Is this what Moderates really want?

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

Dump says that most Americans will receive a tariff dividend of $2,000. First of all, this is a complete lie. His Treasury Sec said today that it’s not going to happen. Secondly, if it’s supposed to cover ACA increases, which are as much as $1,000 a month, it doesn’t. 🙄
