If I created a BlueSky account
attacking only Republicans or
attacking only Democrats,
I'd get tens of thousands of followers pretty quickly.

But instead of that silly game
I talk seriously about issues and policy,
and that's not popular.

That's what's wrong with our world.

One of my student's made an interesting observation.
"Men say women are biologically inferior. Men carry their mothers' DNA forever, so then they too are inferior."

Birthright citizenship?
Donald Trump, Jr. was born in 1977, Ivanka in 1981, and Eric in 1984. Their mother, Ivana, became a US citizen in 1988.
Barron Trump was born March 20, 2006. His mother, Melania Trump, became a US citizen July 28, 2006.

An actual analysis of why Harris lost.
(1 of 2)
Uh, yeah, the message there is that the Democratic Party neglected to appeal to voters. You win an election by appealing to your base. If you don't, you lose.

If Dems were harmed by the antics, during the primaries, of Clinton and those who run the party, that's on Clinton and the party. People will vote as they will; it's up to the candidate to build a winning coalition, not up to voters to recognize some candidates entitlement to their vote.

Since the talking heads are here astroturfing the "Trump is all Bernie's fault" lie, (paid for by the corporatist DNC), here's some cold hard facts.
We can start to move forward when we accept this (among other inconvenient truths).

The Establishment and their corporate backers wanted Hilary.
The reality then and now is the same: The Democratic Party would rather have Trump than Progressives.
You got what you wanted.

I don't enjoy it because I understand that politics isn't a wrestling match and being obsessed with every GOP internecine argument doesn't do anything to fight the right wing much less make life better for people.
