20° is too cold to be protesting, but what the hell. Short and sweet but they were able to give a petition to Bresnahan's staffer this time.

My fingers are numb. 🥶

I might have a hooded scarf by March if I keep going the way I have. I've frogged it five times already, not liking the way it's going. I even switched yarns. Let's hope try #6 is the right one. Lemon peel stitch with Loops & Threads Charisma yarn in the Northern Lights colorway. 🤞🏼🧶

Historian of eugenics here. I don't normally like to retweet bad arguments, but this is such a fundamental misunderstanding of eugenics, I think it's important to point out. I don't have time to debunk all of the ways this is inaccurate, but I'll highlight a few things and then recommend some books🧵

New neurologist. Please let this guy take my migraines seriously and actually listen to me instead of only spending about three minutes with me. 🤞🏼

As an aside, there needs to be a headache emoji. 🤔 I recommend a crying/injured head being hit by a hammer, maybe throwing in a star or two.

At work they play a ton of country, most of it the misogynistic pig type. One of the songs that really irritates me was on today, and for some reason I looked it up along with 'misogyny'. There is someone else who feels the same way I do!

No Thanks. I’ll Name the Dogs Too, Blake.
Let me preface this post with, yes, I am one of those horrible country music fans that everyone likes to loathe so much. It’s media I hate…

Is it just me or does anyone else working retail get really annoyed when they find the packaging for stolen Christian items like cross necklaces, Christian CDs, etc.? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I swear I once read a teeny tiny rule about not doing that in a book.

Watching a preview of Ken Burns' new documentary The American Revolution thanks to my local PBS channel WVIA. This looks really good. One of the reenactors in the film is here at the Albright Library talking about it, too.

Let this sink in. The President of the United States is now appealing a court order forcing him to feed starving children.

The no retention people co-opted the no kings message for a sign they put outside my polling place. Clever little jerks.

Every Monday a small group of protesters stands outside Sen. McCormick's office in Scranton. Today the standee of Rob Bresnahan was flying away so one of the men held it and flapped his arms like he was Bresnahan. A passing gentleman decided to shake the hand of "Bresnahan". 😆

I finished it. I went to Michael's for the frame and it was kindly paid for by a woman I chatted with while I was looking for the right one. I was totally shocked. She insisted. She and the framer had also been at the last protest. I even gave the framer one of my tiny frogs!

How did I ever manage to miss out on the sheer insanity of The Return of Captain Invincible? Christopher Lee sings a Richard O'Brien (RHPS) song trying to get the alcoholic hero to drink something and stumble on his way to bring a hero again. #b-movie

I think I'll be able to finish my impulse guillotine project today. I just need to get the border done. I have to hit up the Goodwill for a frame that is sufficiently fancy to match the style.

I finished all of the middle on Tuesday, and worked on the border last night between reading fics.

I have the day off and should be cleaning my room. Instead, I stumbled across a cross-stitch pattern I really need to make. 🤷🏼‍♀️🪡🧵

Checked into the doc's office with the computer in the lobby. Sat and got a text and an email asking if I was there. Replied to the text and it said I was checked in. The computer already told me that. If I replied to the email would I have gotten the same message? 🤦🏼‍♀️

I took a break from the Trek actor B-movies. Picking up again with Transylvania 6-5000 thanks to Carol Kane. It's not new to me, and I've always liked it, so what the heck.

This is so frustrating. They didn't want her so she ended up in the Smithsonian where more people can access her, and now they're okay with dismantling her because they're spoiled little babies.
