In Bob McKimson’s RABBIT ROMEO (’57), Elmer looks after the large, lovesick Slobovian rabbit Millicent (June Foray) and brings over Bugs to satiate her craving for male companionship. RABBIT ROMEO was one of the few stories Mike Maltese supplied for McKimson.

In Bob McKimson’s KIDDIN’ THE KITTEN (’52), lazy Dodsworth the cat (voiced by Sheldon Leonard) trains a kitten to do his mousecatching for him. McKimson used Dodsworth again for A PECK O’TROUBLE, where he has the same kitten retrieve a woodpecker up a telephone pole.

Incredible ending to the incredible TWO GOPHERS FROM TEXAS. Beautiful Bill Melendez + Emery Hawkins animation here, w/ this essentially being the latter's magnum opus. I don't know of any other WB cartoon that has drawings with such specificity in derangement (which is different from "exaggerated")
