That's so true, especially in leading roles. It's easy to find programmers, but it's really hard to find problem solvers. And I'm not talking about solving algorithms when I say "solving problems". I'm talking about solving real life problems, and turning them into automated software.

OpenAI just anounced the o3 model. It is still not available for the general public, but if this benchmarks are true it will probably outperform Claude Sonnet.
At this rate I see no competiotion anymore between someone who uses AI for programming and someone who is not (no matter how skillfull).

Absolutely, humans have passion for everything they are good at or for everything that they have an unfair competitive adavntage at. So you either are naturally talented at something, or you work hard to get that competitive advantage.

Absolutely, humans have passion for everything they are good at or for everything that they have an unfair competitive adavntage at. So you either are naturally talented at something, or you work hard to get that competitive advantage.
2 of the best use cases of AI in coding are testing and error handling. Claude Sonnet nails both, expect when there is a lot of code modularity. In that case you need to feed it with some comprehensive examples. That always work in my experience.

Yeah, these no-code tools are meant to be used for MVPs and for quick internal automations. They were hyped by people that sell dreams I think. Anyway with the speed of development with AI, no-code may have reached its peak and will start declining. Expect for non programmers who like to experiment

Remember, when you are just starting out, brute force is always the answer. Because you know nothing, and will know nothing for a long time. Then, after some time, when you have gained experience, you can start thinking about "working smart, not hard"

Switching/Learnng new tech stacks have never been easier than it is now whith the help of AI.
So if you are starting a new project don't overthink it. Go for what you feel comfortable with.
You can always rewrite later with AI having that context ready.

Before the quickest way was to go with no-code tools (zapier, bubble)
Now you can go for enterprise-level, fully custom code.
Thus drastically reducing technical debt and increasing scalability.
And it will more or less take the same time

I am surprised by the amount of people that can't see value into AI. (And I'm talking about decent devs)
Yes, it is not perfect, yet. BUT you can still find workarounds to at least 5x your productivity.

«Add AI» is a running joke in my team.
They say it can be trusted, it’s unethical, it uses energy, I creates bugs.
No matter what awesome AI tech I show them, they brush it off as stupid.
