From CTO to CMO. Now back to coding because of AI
Definitely a must-read. I found it very insightful
Here’s what 𝘸𝘰𝘯’𝘵 help you land 1:1 interviews with your ICP so you can validate your company:

Creating software, adding features, and yapping about nothing on social media.

You only need 1-2 methods to work for finding customer interviews. Here’s a bunch to try.
How to find potential customers to interview about your startup
How do you find potential customers to interview, before you have a product, a website, or even a name?

That's so true, especially in leading roles. It's easy to find programmers, but it's really hard to find problem solvers. And I'm not talking about solving algorithms when I say "solving problems". I'm talking about solving real life problems, and turning them into automated software.
Coding is just one of your skills

Your real job is solving problems, and coding is just one way to get there

Take the time to deeply understand the problem you’re addressing

When you truly understand the problem, your work will have a far greater impact

OpenAI just anounced the o3 model. It is still not available for the general public, but if this benchmarks are true it will probably outperform Claude Sonnet.

At this rate I see no competiotion anymore between someone who uses AI for programming and someone who is not (no matter how skillfull).
December 21, 2024 at 8:23 AM
Absolutely, humans have passion for everything they are good at or for everything that they have an unfair competitive adavntage at. So you either are naturally talented at something, or you work hard to get that competitive advantage.
"Find your passion" is BS advice

Try to be useful to people

People who you find interesting

Do it every day

Passion follows Practice

2 of the best use cases of AI in coding are testing and error handling. Claude Sonnet nails both, expect when there is a lot of code modularity. In that case you need to feed it with some comprehensive examples. That always work in my experience.

What's your AI favorite use case?

That Open AI Sora looks amazing. Has anyone tried it yet?
Can't wait yo try it, but they have restricted account creation

Yeah, these no-code tools are meant to be used for MVPs and for quick internal automations. They were hyped by people that sell dreams I think. Anyway with the speed of development with AI, no-code may have reached its peak and will start declining. Expect for non programmers who like to experiment
What’s nice about all these people thinking they can no-code a competitive software product…

…is that they’re wrong, which means someone who could have been your competitor, is wasting their time.

Stay focused on the goal.

Woke up sad today, because it's Monday, but then remembered that I'm an entrepreneur and every day is the same to me.

Goodmorning guys!

You need $0 and a laptop to learn programming and start making money

Pro Tip 🫴: If you are using AI for coding, try splitting your project into micro tasks and start feeding them to claude sonnet.

This way you keep full control over the code of your project, and Claude will one-shot the tasks like there is no tomorrow.

It's a super power🚀

200k #bitcoin incoming?

Still people thinking that bitcoin isn't here to stay. I think they have been burned so hard by crypto scams, that they can not see the value of the tech there anymore. Can't blame them
Bitcoin reached a new ATH last night, and not just any milestone: it broke past the $100k mark 📈

This is a historic and deeply symbolic moment. 🚀

The question now is, where will it go from here? 👀

Remember, when you are just starting out, brute force is always the answer. Because you know nothing, and will know nothing for a long time. Then, after some time, when you have gained experience, you can start thinking about "working smart, not hard"

With all the noise popping up evereyday in tech, what NOT to learn has become as important as what to learn

Most people confuse being busy with being productive.

The difference is the Deep Work.
Having my deep work hours reduced, is a vacation signal for me.

I don't knwo if any of you guys is into crypto, but the AI coins are exploading right now

Switching/Learnng new tech stacks have never been easier than it is now whith the help of AI.
So if you are starting a new project don't overthink it. Go for what you feel comfortable with.
You can always rewrite later with AI having that context ready.

AI has drastically changed protoyping and MVPs landscape.
Before the quickest way was to go with no-code tools (zapier, bubble)
Now you can go for enterprise-level, fully custom code.
Thus drastically reducing technical debt and increasing scalability.
And it will more or less take the same time
November 30, 2024 at 5:36 PM
We are all H²O wrappers after all🤣
I feel like people who call everything an AI wrapper are just salty. Like, you're software is just an if/then statement wrapper bro.
November 30, 2024 at 11:19 AM
I am surprised by the amount of people that can't see value into AI. (And I'm talking about decent devs)

Yes, it is not perfect, yet. BUT you can still find workarounds to at least 5x your productivity.
My coworkers truly hate AI, and they’re developers.

«Add AI» is a running joke in my team.

They say it can be trusted, it’s unethical, it uses energy, I creates bugs.

No matter what awesome AI tech I show them, they brush it off as stupid.

I feel utterly misplaced
