How do you say "Abolish ICE"?
Your Cherokee words for today.
The top word is English followed by how it is written in the Cherokee language followed by how it is spelled in English then how to pronounce it phonetically.

Episode 19A is up now.
Actually posted it 12 days ago, but just now "promoting" it here - maybe that's part of why we have so few listeners. Also, it was posted 5 months after it was recorded. I've really got to stop slacking.

LOTT left out the negative. It should be, "It's a crime NOT to impede ICE operations" (punishable by five minutes standing against the wall).
this is precisely how twitter would have been in germany in the 1940s

What if your government is telling you to do an evil unjust thing and repeat that every day?

How quickly we forget that many fascists and despots were and are popular.

Even in single-choice elections, especially in downballot contests, voters may not know anything about ANY of the candidates. This is part of why using sortition to select citizens to participate in deliberative assemblies is more democratic than any sort of election.

This Sunday morning, we'll be starting a new chapter on the podcast: every other week, we'll read from The Mass Line and the American Revolutionary Movement. It'll be our first long work. So, we're looking for 1-3 new co-hosts, or at least some guest panelists.

The history of Western imperialism is bookended by genocides: the genocide perpetrated by Columbus against the Taino people after 1492, and the current US-Israeli genocide against the people of Palestine. Plus countless more in between. 500+ years of barbarism and it must be stopped.
