Cranky lioness. You know me from Twitter. Cats, game design, Judaism, and very long threads. (She/her)
Only if you keep having babies, so sort of? Like I would differentiate between it and an internal organ because it’s expelled as part of the process.

“Once the antisemitism of these conspiracies becomes apparent, the conspiracy has become so well entrenched into the believer’s mind that implying that what they believe is antisemitic comes off as implying *truth itself* is antisemitic.”

I was wondering if they were just using any photo of women before the Second Wave ("pre-feminism" in the way Weiss means it) and this seems a wild misreading of Beatlemania. It was novel at the time to have women publicly express (implicitly sexual) desire at all
Okay, apart from everything else... the photo choice? The image seemed familiar, so I checked and... it's a photo of Beatles fans waiting for the band's arrival at San Francisco International Airport in August 1964. Strange.

Not random that antisemitism has been at its maximum when money has been it's most concentrated (feudalism, early modernity, late 19th century early 20th century)

"Blame the Jews, not me!" has been how those in power have gotten away with their bullshit for centuries and centuries--

"Scapegoat and distract while we rob the bank, exploit the masses, prove useless in the face of pandemics + natrual disasters"

has been the MO for a long, long time, friends.

Gotta get the history to know where the tropes live in the discourse today.

No, pretty sure private citizens selling organs is illegal, whether or not they’re their own organs.

We’ve been willing, as a country, to draft men to die in wars, and I unfortunately don’t think it’s that much of a stretch, if men panic hard enough about the birth rate, for this country to draft both living and dead women’s bodies.
December 22, 2025 at 5:36 PM
What few reins there ever were on capitalism seem to be coming off, and men in power are real worried about the birth rate.

And women’s bodies produce valuable things: babies, placentas, cord blood, menstrual stem cells.
December 22, 2025 at 5:33 PM
For men who want babies being produced without women, who can’t get artificial wombs working, what’s the next best thing? Possibly a woman’s body without a woman’s consciousness present.

The abortion bans are starting to result in horrifying cases like that of Adriana Smith, who was dead, as a person. They kept her on life support, though, in order to produce a baby.

Father awarded full custody of Baby Chance after unprecedented Georgia legitimation case
A family law firm says it helped the father of Baby Chance establish legal rights to his son, who was born to a mother kept on life support after being declared brain dead.

And as it turns out, producing babies isn’t the only potentially really valuable thing women’s bodies do. Menstrual fluid is full of powerful stem cells. The placenta is full of medically valuable stuff.

Men would love nothing more than to have artificial wombs available so they don’t have to deal with actual alive, thinking women with opinions and agency and all that.

But so far, no dice.

What science is nowhere near being able to replicate is *pregnancy.*

Possibly because scientists hate studying female bodies and avoid it whenever possible, but also because it’s incredibly complex.
December 22, 2025 at 5:23 PM
Eggs are more complex and harder to reproduce, but it’s likely still within reach. They can also be banked.
December 22, 2025 at 5:22 PM
In terms of reproduction, men’s bodies are unnecessary. All that’s needed is their sperm. Sperm can be banked, and quite likely artificially produced: www.bbc.com/news/health-...
Lab-grown sperm makes healthy offspring - BBC News
Sperm have been made in the laboratory and used to father healthy baby mice in a move that could lead to infertility treatments.

Anyway, that shit is real dark, especially since women’s bodies do things science can’t artificially replicate.
