I am actually so incensed about this. None of us asked to be here. No one got our permission before bringing us to existence in this stupid world. We don’t control the economy. We didn’t design this system. We are all trying to make the best of existence. This bullying needs to stop. I’m fed up.

I want to go to work get paid and use that money to spend time with my family, eat food, and help my community. That’s it. The constant layoffs and job losses and the “you’re not owed a living” is so fucking distressing. None of us deserve to be bullied and abused like this by powerful rich people.

Also can someone research the impact of constantly being told to get a job but also you are useless, you are not needed, you’re a leech in society for exchanging your labour for money to put a roof over your head and eat. For me at least it’s been psychologically damaging. Don’t want to exist.

It's so cool how this government is doing so many Trumpian things- voter suppression, climate denial, interfering in education against expert advice, destroying healthcare, rolling back environmental protections- but we're still largely treating them as normal and being like 'But how's the economy?'
