Let's talk ugly, fugly, ratty old garden sheds. Ours is a classic, built in the early 60's. It's solidly framed and dry inside, but the outside is made from a motley glom of whatever scrap they had on hand. It looks esp dumpy next to our newly painted garage. Is #FuglyFriday a thing? It should be...

We finished the big garage proj- I moved the door over 2', installed a new window, put on new Hardie siding & corner trims, new paint job, replaced the concrete steps & walks, new porch lights, new fascia boards and gutters, & more. Still have lots of landscaping & hardscaping etc to do next year.

I've finished this cello box for my wife (and her cello), it's been on the back burner for months. It's made from some locally-harvested Black Walnut that I had band-saw milled. (please open the thread for more info)

Fall foliage is fleeting here- we only get a week or so before the wind and rain blow the leaves off, and a lot of beautiful color gets left on the ground.
