Yeah. Kinda like how brontosaurus was the sauropod everyone knew…though of course there was the whole “does it even exist” thing for that one. And now it’s brachiosaurus.

Is it just me or is Styracosaurus thr poster child for a dinosaur that seemed to be really popular back in the 70s and 80s and is practically unheard of now?

Yeah, betcha a lot of people don't know that the rightful ruler of Oz is forcibly transformed into a boy and sent away to keep her from the throne but she eventually turns back into a girl, regains her throne...and develops a romantic relationship with Dorothy.

I may be wrong, but it seems either (a) they are talking about an exterior observer (ie implying a multiverse with baby universes, or (b) this might be a brute fact, akin to why does anything exist instead of nothing? Essentially that if a closed universe exists, it must have observers inside it,
