TBH, I am frustrated that the biggest vision we have is taxing ultra high income earners. The sub-500k tech workers (vast majority of us!) are having our lifestyles subsidized by people making 100k or less who pay a much higher share of their income than I do (nowhere near 500k). Tax me too!

Honestly, my own opinion on these issues has changed dramatically over the last few years. I think as a city we really are starting to see and long for the benefits of a biker/walker/transit city. I think it's possible there's some genuine shift in Saka. The public pressure helps of course.

Democrats are going to be blamed for rising Chineese power and outsourcing jobs. And not just manufacturing this time! Research, tech and other high paying jobs are being outsourced as well.

They pretty clearly explain what they are trying to do. And it has some reason to it! There are contexts in which it would be good advice. But in this moment it ignores the context and scope of the issue.

I didn't think about that. Limited hours can definitely impact use, even in the hours it is open.
