I use N95s when I’m in crowded places (concert, transit), enclosed rooms w/no ventilation & hospitals/medical settings where people may be sick bc it’s the most secure fit. But if I’m walking around in a mall that’s not busy, grocery shopping & never staying put in closed quarters, a KN95 more comfy

They do help! I walk up 4 flights of stairs when I occasionally go in to work & get so winded have to take breaks between flights/walk much slower than I used to w/o mask before 2020. Just be sure to get right size that’s well-fitted, thought I was L but M fits w/ no gaps. They sell sample size pack

Ventilation when you can have windows open and air filtration, from HEPA units to inexpensive corsi-rosenthal boxes, too!

I love Breatheteq KN95s. More breathable than other models, come in black, grey & lavender that feel less clinical & more a part of your everyday outfits. My folks won’t wear N95 but will these. Canada Strong also sells WELL life brand combo Covid / Flu A&B tests👆& sample pack to find right mask fit

It’s estimated that a 1/3 to half the population presents asymptomatically to Covid. Maybe I’m one of them because I haven’t been sick since 2019. I mask diligently but sometimes my “mild” symptoms are a bit stronger than usual allergy ones. That’s when I test. So far, no infection that I know of 🤞

Love to hear it, good for you! 👏😷
Been masking since 2020 too! Pretty sure it’s allergies too but I’ve been Xmas shopping (masked) among the coughing, unmasked folk standing in long lineups for the past few days so I’m being safe vs sorry since I have to be around elderly family in a couple of days.

Wow, seems really high! I wish masking was normalized during respiratory illness season

I haven’t figured out all my allergies which makes it harder to avoid them, but many are food related I can’t always avoid that cause congestion, nasal drip, scratchy throat, + mould & dust that furnace kicks up

Wow, that’s a lot! I’m surprised insurance doesn’t cover it with all the research that says worse health conditions come with Covid infections and Paxlovid can reduce chance of Long Covid

I’m sorry! So unfair. That’s where I expect to finally get Covid, at a hospital when I have to be unmasked 😓
