Nice to see Grok blaming Elon Musk for the recent spate of sexualized images of children and non-consenting women.

It's not his business he may be unable to pass on - it's the £550mn worth of farmland he bought to avoid inheritance tax. Which he runs at a £5mn/yr profit, to be clear.

That could attract a £120mn in tax. Ouch. But then since he's worth £20bn, IT'LL ONLY COST 0.6% OF HIS FORTUNE
Some people do my head in.
This arse is one of them.
Why TF would we care about his business…? Did he care about all the SMEs bankrupted by Brexit? Does he feel any anxiety or shame about just how much that stupid idea has cost our country and many of us personally.
No.
He can absolutely do one.

If a young man [of fighting age], unable to speak basic english, is able to make the perilous crossing of the Channel in a small boat in mid winter, take your job, romance your girlfriend and buy your dream home from under you, you need to think about upgrading your basic skills.

There are reasons wealthy individuals want Reform in power, and those reasons do not include concern for the common Brit.

Harborne doesn't live here; as an immigrant he's not fretting about immigration, flags or the EU; he simply expects to profit, at the expense of the typical Reform voter.

Glass! This is informative and fun. I used to dabble in scientific glassblowing myself, so I have a huge appreciation of the skill required to do it properly.

This doesn’t feel like the kind of headline the BBC should be running with

I detest Nick Robinson with some passion. He takes every single point, good or bad and attacks it for whatever reason he can think of.

"Why are you borrowing, that's bad. Why aren't you borrowing to promote growth? Why raise taxes? Why U-turn on raising unpopular taxes?"

A bully and a twat.

Similarly, the claim "putting pineapple on pizza does not cause autism" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that putting pineapple on pizza causes autism.
The CDC website now disseminates disinformation about vaccines, claiming erroneously that infant vaccines might cause autism, when we know conclusively that they do not. It is difficult to overstate just how dangerous this is. www.cdc.gov/vaccine-safe...

This really needs a UK/EU print partner.
birders, feast your eyes! my “extremely accurate birds” calendar is back by popular demand, and my illustrations are more realistic than ever! i do believe this new edition is the most anatomically-precise collection of bird illustrations ever drawn!

I wonder how many people have similar experiences. I've thought it, but figured I was being sloppy or forgetful or doing that bias where the coincidences are more notable than all the non-coincidences.

But I've seen other people notice it too (see comment). Can we all be coincidences?
Google doesn't listen to everything you do.

In my new novel I mention a bus terminal in Ohio. I haven't published it. It's just in a Word document on my PC.

Now Google is asking me to review the bus terminal, because it thinks I visited it.

What is it about 'processing' that makes foods intrinsically bad? How can it all be bad, when it's all so different?

Maybe it's not all equally bad, but it does all equally stop you from eating the things that are good 🤔

Nick Robinson was calling the rhetoric out on R4 yesterday, which highlights a serious point - Labour can't win on messaging. I don't remember him being so outraged by Patel's anti-immigration bill, for eg.

So why don't they stop the 'Reform Lite' signalling and take a moral & pragmatic stand?
Coverage of the refugee proposals demonstrates why we have such a broken political system. Endless focus on left-wing anger and right-wing support. Basically nothing on whether the reforms will work. They will not, which is why we'll still be here having the same debate in three years.
