I say this with empathy toward every struggling actor who is just trying to make due:
Providing your voice for A.I. undermines everyone in the industry. It is a net negative, that will only make it harder for you and everyone else down the line.

“But in ARC Raiders the GenAi voices were officially sanctioned by the actors! And so did Fortnite!” - and their agreement to this undermines everything the rest of us Voice Actors, our union, and other industries have been fighting against.

These are the sorts of stories I’d often find on LinkedIn, but they don’t sting any less. To so easily turn people’s lives upside down like this is unacceptable.
I’ve had my own issues with Riot in the interview process, but this solidifies their toxic status in my mind. We all deserve better.

3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.

The Mario 2 and Mario 4 designs got some serious steez. 👀👌
Super Mario World has an extremely eclectic art style whereby many enemies are drawn in completely different ways. Development files reveal Mario went through many stylistic changes; it is possible that all the enemies were made to fit Mario, but at different points in time.

Pay special attention to the dates (namely 1948) and words (namely "refugees") used as Miss Palestine Nadeen Ayoub shares her family history. She's referring to the Nakba, the start of Israeli ethnic cleansing of Palestinian Arabs.

If your game has voice acting, then working with the voice actors is half of your writing process. It's not complete until you've heard it interpreted and reimagined by a voice actor. And they always reimagine it in ways that elevate the writing, in ways you never would have imagined yourself.

I always love Anya's make-believe scenes in Spy X Family, but this may be my favorite yet.

It’s a good idea to look over your Bluesky moderation settings ASAP.
The platform is employing a form of soft censorship to keep us from communicating with one another, specifically posts that could be problematic for the powers that be.

Next select Settings, and then Moderation on the next screen. At the bottom of the Moderation page under "Advanced" is a section called "Bluesky Moderation Service" that looks like an info box. It in fact leads to more settings.
