I often think about how the government hounded Aaron Swartz to death for scraping Jstor, yet all these AI companies scraped almost literally all of human knowledge (and continue to do so even when they're told to stop) and have had no criminal consequences.

This feels inevitable. The stock market is propped up by tech co's with varying AI bets, and Nvidia is the cornerstone. OpenAI has no path to profit, but plan to burn more mountains of cash to keep growing. And they have to keep growing to get new investment dollars. Feels like another Enron.
BREAKING: OpenAI is requesting US government support to help guarantee financing for the massive investments in AI chips and data centers it needs for expansion, per Bloomberg.

The Regime's goal is to grind everyone down. Plain & simple. Our goal is to refuse this by taking turns to fight where and how we can. When one group needs to bow out, then another group needs to step in and so on. We don't all have to do everything. We can all do something though. Stay in the fight
