In a dark kitchenette in Georgetown, DC, democratic lawmakers have a clandestine meeting over weak coffee and over-dry scones. They tent their fingers as they see that their diabolical plan to do absolutely nothing is working. And so, they learn… nothing.

New Mexico is the only state to have a “state smell”

A bunch of grade school kids said that roasting green chile should be our state smell so their teacher had them write our state Congress and in a shocking display they all came together, wrote the bill, and passed it in a matter of weeks

Fair. Very fair. I'm just glad they've moved away from invalidating passports willy nilly. It looked like that was going to be the reality any day now. (To be clear I was referring to Erin's news as the "decent" news, not The NY Times story. I no longer subscribe and could not read it.)
