Mother and child, Nepal. I shot this for @altusaid.altgov.info whose project restored the health of malnourished children and educated mothers about proper nutrition. These mothers then took that knowledge back to their villages and passed it on, saving other little ones.

Walking through Manhattan I noticed this man fast asleep on a bench, mid-book and mid-cigarette. I snapped a shot and suddenly a burst a wind knocked his book from his lap, waking him immediately. I pressed the shutter a final time. #streetphotography #photography
