I'll post things that resonate with me here. Here's the first one that hit me like a gut punch:
"Through it all, I never considered asking for help or sharing with anyone how I felt. I lived by a very narrow set of rules, and remaining independent and invulnerable was chief among them." 🤐
I'm dying! 🤣 OMG! I sincerely hope conversations like this are actually taking place for real all of the country right now.

I've read The Martian and seen the movie 3 or 4 times. I know that no one dies in the movie, and yet every time I watch it, I keep expecting Sean Bean's character to die at any moment.

So strange to watch a movie where he makes it all the way to the end without suffering a horribly violent death.

It's amazing what you can accomplish when you actually give a shit about people. Nice work @mayor.nyc.gov!

As they prepared for the big storm, Mamdani and his staff noted that his three immediate predecessors had all botched snow responses.

At the end of the day, the Black Lives Matter era was about whether people should be killed in the street, and lots of people decided yeah and put those little blue flags on their cars. It spread to everyone because it stopped for no one.

I've watched the videos of Renee Good and Alex Pretti from multiple angles.

It's obvious that these are public executions.

Fascism is not coming, it is here. Now.

Pretty sure that's kidnapping and illegal detainment. There was no legal reason for them to hold their daughter in the front yard. These people are cowards and are the embodiment of evil.
This video shows ICE holding children hostage to bait parents out of their homes.

Just unspeakable levels of cruelty and inhumanity.

Pretty obvious to anyone that actually cares to watch and knows the law that this is a murder.
Newly available videos and existing footage synchronized and assessed by The Times provide a millisecond-by-millisecond look at how an ICE officer ended up shooting and killing a motorist in Minneapolis.

It also establishes how he put himself in a dangerous position near her car in the first place.

Just watched Santa Clause 3 with Martin Short as Jack Frost. I realized that he basically plays the same character (Oliver Putnam) in Only Murders in the Building.

Now it's headcanon that Jack Frost "retires" and lives out his life as Oliver Putnam. 🤯

I'm 90% sure this is a reference to "O Fortuna" from Carmina Burana, but I'm also 10% that this person wants to be offered Tuna.

This is why we founded Aleterra.

I think Spirited might be my new favorite Xmas movie!

The whole thing is absolutely amazing. The songs are awesome, the dialogue is phenomenal and hilarious, and the choreography is incredible to watch.

I don't think tap dancing has been featured this prominently or effectively in a movie. Ever!

Accurate.
thing about autism is if you work really hard for many years, you can learn through trial-and-error how to navigate social situations and interpersonal connections SO effectively that people don't really believe you're autistic anymore and resent you for not being perfect at nonverbal communication

Yeah, this right here. When we take back power, we need to hold our dem reps to the fire and make sure they put protections in place. Also, universal health care.

This graphic gives me hope! Young people on the left, old on the right.
Those claiming Dems should retreat on racial justice aren't hard-headed realists, they're pushing against the electoral tide rather than leaning into it. The story of Gen Z isn't about racist backlash or red-pilled young men. It's the most racially progressive generation in American history. 🧵
