I like Discord, it's the only thing I have available to make friends, and to meet people in my field. I wish people used matrix but it's hard to convince them to change.

I guess they just want easy articles and cover the trend, the solution is simple, just enforce high quality standards, that forces people to use production ready software and techniques.
The actual issue in games right now is ignorant and out of touch leaders. They create this situation we are in.
