I'm no tactistitian, but if I'm going to take cover under heavy fire, I'm probably going to hunker down on the least exposed side of an obstruction, rather than the one open to multiple long sight lines and several open subway doors. But I guess that's why I'm not a black ops do-er.

More Weird Lil' Deedlees, this time in sculpey.

This little spider hopped up on my food container while I was working outside earlier in the week. Soon after I took the Pic, it stuck its little butt in the air, let out a filament of silk, and took off into the air.

I realize I could have made the character more on the nose by making him a hammerhead shark, but the plush was a great white. Anyway, here's the rest. I made laptop/water bottle stickers of it. My favorite is the pill bug because of all the random crap that's involved in describing the character.

A Panama hat sits atop his head and he's holding a tropical drink with a little umbrella. 3P: Pill-Buggy is Chicken (the bug), a pill bug in a green trucker hat sitting on top of a robot reel-to-reel player with pincer-arms and casters. 4P: Sharko is WaterMelon (the DRIVEr), an anthropomorphic shark wearing the iconic satin jacket, fingerless leather gloves, jeans and boots that Ryan Gosling wore in the movie DRIVE, only with a golden crab embroidered on the back instead of a scorpion.

This is Sharko, code named WaterMelon wearing the outfit from DRIVE because he's the driver of the crew, done in the style of a sidescrolling brawler. My son gave some of his plush animals code names and made them part of a crew.

Kaua'i is wonderful for bird watching. I could even identify some of the species if the roosters would shut the hell up.
