In fact, I've come to think that all these people are actually *worse* than MAGA. Their worldview, more than anything else, put MAGA in power.

He often rails against mindless, leftist "liberal"-haters on the left. But he calls them "progressives," or "the left," using those as blanket terms. I and many others have pointed out to him why this is so obviously nonsensical, but he just keeps doing it.

As always, people point out the fundamental flaws in his reasoning, and he just rolls right over them, usually by simply repeating his made-up assertions.

He's been right about a lot of stuff, like the goofy idea that the economy was cratering in 2024. But in terms of discourse, he's Yglesias.

In this thread, he accuses "Bluesky," "the Internet," and "Very Online" people of believing that everybody wants to live in NYC, and that's why they want lower housing costs. This "Bluesky" quote is entirely made up. Nobody has said anything like that.
