Yep! It’s a bit of sore subject in that we finally won the title after years of it being unofficially the steepest, but then Dunedin got REALLY stroppy about losing the title and supposedly tried to force the criteria to be changed so they could win the title back. Which they did after about a year.

I'd wager the reason they didn't charge the vast majority of the Palestine action arrestees was through fear of the gentle pensioners being presented as terrorists getting acquitted by juries.

Obviously this has implications beyond this, and it all makes me feel sick.

I cannot recall a British politician that has credibly expressed statements that are as antisemitic as those expressed by Nigel Farage. Where is the Board of Deputies?
