Young in spirit Grandma, lover of music and sport. Gradually migrating further north with each house move. Socialist, ex Lab voter, hoping for a better future!
A few years ago I ended up moving to an area where I knew no one. My wonderful dad said “you will bloom wherever you are planted.” He always was my biggest champion. I found this board and today have baked a perfect loaf. Missing you dad ❤️

I can’t even begin to describe how delicious this week’s loaf of bread is. It still amazes me that this is just flour and water!

Canterbury Food Bank is where I volunteer, and when I said demand had increased this year a load of Labour loyalists piled on me.
⚡️ Shocking! Canterbury Food Bank now feeds nearly 5% of the entire local population.

📈 Demand up 15% year on year
🍽️ 1,700 meals in a single day — what used to take a month
👩‍🏭 Many users are in work

Before austerity and Brexit food banks hardly existed! This is a political choice, not an accident.

I am fortunate to live next to a river. On a wet year it floods which isn’t so good but on days like today I get to see otters before I go to work. They are just so joyous but very fast!

Fuck off Kate. You have a nanny for grown children, cleaners, don't have a job, assistant, personal hairdressers, and are loaded.

You know what does damage family life more? Poverty. Put your literal money where your mouth is then I may take you seriously.

Latest poll puts Greens just two points behind Labour. When I said we weren't here to be disappointed in Labour but to replace them, I meant it.

Join us and let's make hope normal again.

He's been leader for six weeks. It's remarkable. Go on Zack ✊️
Not only are we at record numbers of members and growing every day - this is our highest ever poll rating.

We're just getting started.

This is the politics of the 99% Vs the 1% for a country we can all afford to live in - plenty of room to grow.

We’re in a pivotal moment in British politics that requires people to know and understand history and I am telling you, categorically, the Lib Dems are not and will never, in this conjuncture, be the solution.
