As Jewish families in WA state & around the world celebrate the start of Hanukkah, I’m thinking of the victims from the horrific shooting in Sydney.
They should have been able to celebrate safely. This kind of antisemitic hate & violence has no place in the world.

The feral mom of these two kittens wrestling on my lap (I trapped her and the kittens awhile back- she was spade and released back outside, the kittens are fixed and socialized and living with me) has now decided to be less feral and is letting me get close to her. Huge win!!
