Because I don’t fully understand the BlueSky algorithm, I’ve created a Bear Crew starter pack including some of my old friends from Twitter to make a feed from.

Comment below if you’re also from Twitter when it was good and I’ll add you.

Labour have secured a record breaking 8.4GW of additional offshore wind capacity.

The auction is the biggest in European history, with long term prices secured at about 20% lower than the maximum.

The sites, off England, Scotland and Wales, are enough to power 12 million homes!

Wind power is now 40% cheaper than natural gas. And we're going to build *a lot* more of it.

Making life affordable. Protecting the planet.

Win-win.
We’ve just secured the largest amount of offshore wind in any auction ever in Britain - enough to power the equivalent of 12 million homes.

In Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 the first offshore wind project in three years has been successful - a landmark moment demonstrating our commitment to the whole of the UK.

The Home Office’s new TikTok account wants you to see migration through a negative lens.

We refuse this toxic narrative. Migration is a positive force in this country.

I had feedback today from a company that checks for bots on social media.

Turns out most of the negative comments on mine from names I don’t recognise as regular agitators, are bots!

Well, who’d have thunk it!?!

Carole Cadwalladr is one of the most valuable journalists of our times - she was the first to spot the unholy alliance between big tech & the far right, & she did great work exposing the links between Brexit & Putin's regime (for which she paid a heavy personal price).

This will be a must-watch.

The despicable images circulating on X via its chatbot Grok show the way we legislate & regulate isn’t fit for purpose when it comes to the challenges of AI.

I’m calling for a totally new, empowered regulator that embeds people's experience online.

I spoke to BBC Radio 4’s Today programme today.

So presuming Musk refused to remove Grok from UK X users, this would oblige UK ISPs to block X and Apple/Google to remove it from their app stores?

This is obviously the right decision.

It should spark a wider conversation about social media platforms. We clearly can't - and shouldn't - just rely on the responsibility of the owners.
